Sweden's Mattias Nilsson Golf equipment and Trevor Immelman of South Africa joined the chase for the Tusker Kenya Open title in Nairobi and after an eventful third round share the lead with another Swede Taylormade burner superlaunch irons, Henrik Stenson.
The trio are locked on 10-under-par 203 Taylormade r9 max irons, a stroke ahead of Kenyan, Taylormade irons peter Njiru, with yet another Swede, Ulrik Gustafsson and Spain's Pello Iguaran two shots further back on 206.
Nilsson was one of three players to shoot a best-of-the-day 66, while Immelman went round in 67 and Stenson, the overnight leader, with 69. Njiru matched Nilsson's 66, much to the delight of the home fans, Maruman golf irons to get to nine under, while Zimbabwe's Sean Farrell also returned 66 to move up to joint seventh on 207.
On the same score are Morten Backhausen of Denmark, who went round in 67, and leading Italian, Gianluca Baruffaldi, with a level-par 71. With just six shots covering the leading 16 players, the Championship is set for an exciting finale.
